The choir is made up of about 20 singers divided into 4 choirs (SATB) in an almost balanced way.
It has been formed for 3 years now around the desire of some to be able to approach or discover the songs of the Breton and Celtic repertoire.
No musical selection is required, the scores are of easy musical level. The choir is naturally open to any public, whether they speak Breton or not.
We have a Breton referent that allows everyone to appropriate the scores (phonetic pronunciation and recordings per desk proposed), which also adapts the pronunciation to the original land of the songs.
Historically the vocal music was the repertoire of the federation of Breton choirs Kanomp Breizh, but the exploration of a more recent repertoire would also be highly appreciated.
Rehearsals take place once a week at the Cercle Celtique de Rennes at the Ferme de la Harpe, on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 10 pm (except during school vacations).
