The Anna Vreizh Choral Ensemble was founded more than twenty years ago by its choir director Yvonne Breilly-Le Calvez.
He makes known the Breton culture in Loire-Atlantique by singing in Breton, traditional songs or songs from today. Yvonne Breilly has also composed most of the choir’s repertoire, based on works by great Breton poets such as Angela Duval, Naïg Rozmor, Anthony Lhéritier.
The group, currently placed under the direction of Bernard Quemener, also sings the works of Gilles Servat, Youenn Gwernig, René Abjean, often accompanied by a small instrumental ensemble.
